1.Cheer on skaters at the skateboard competition taking place on Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mercer Stadium skate park. While you’re there, drop by the city’s booth to offer opinions about what you’d like to see in the new skate park.

2. Join the New Westminster Museum and Archives on a walking tour of Queen’s Park, which is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. On the tour you’ll learn about the park’s history and discover why it’s been so popular through the years. The tour is for folks aged 16 and up and runs on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. 3. Search for treasures at the Fraser Valley Antiques and Collectibles show at Queen’s Park Arena on Saturday, April 29 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday, April 30 (10 a.m.to 3 p.m.) – it’s $5.
