Sixth annual Queensborough shoreline cleanup, meet at 9:30 a.m. on South Dyke Road at the foot of Carter Street to sign up. Ring gloves, rakes, pruners and shovels, and the whole family, for a for work party. Volunteers will be picking up garbage, removing invasive plants, planting two special trees and other native species. Refreshments for participants. Along with cleanup up the Fraser foreshore, participants will also be taking some of the found garbage and making an art piece.
