New West Talks: Tricia Keith, midwife to the dying, a slideshow/speaker series hosted by Rick Carswell in conjunction with the New Westminster Public Library, 3 p.m. at 716 Sixth Ave. Keith’s slideshow will question how we approach death and dying in today’s “death denial” culture. For those looking for a more authentic, earth friendly and family –led approach to dying and post-death care, Keith will bring examples and informational sources on how to being more meaning and purpose to the final stage of embodiment.
