If you’re looking to declutter for fall, the Fraternal Order of Eagles may be able to help.

The New Westminster chapter is having a parking lot/garage sale on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot at West End Pharmacy, 2004 Eighth Ave. (at the corner of Eighth Avenue and 20th Street). Tables are $20 to rent, with proceeds helping the Eagles to support New Westminster charities.

Friday, Aug. 31

The Century House Ukulele Orchestra is hard at work preparing for its first concert on Friday, Aug. 31 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Century House, 620 Eighth St. Led by Joel MacKenzie, this all-ukulele orchestra will perform a variety of songs arranged for the ukulele orchestra, both sung and instrumental, including standards, oldies, and newer tunes by musicians including Neil Young and Israel “Iz” Kamakawiwo’ole. Admission is $2.
