1Get some deals at the Century House craft sale and tea, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10: 30 am. to 2 p.m.
The day includes a variety of crafts, a jewelry table, painting, home baking, raffles, an afternoon tea, and a white elephant area. Century House is located at 620 Eighth St.
2 Learn about sustainability at the Envision 2032 sustainability fair, which will help guide the vision for the city's future.
Topics include urban design, community wellbeing, economy, energy and emissions, environment, heritage, affordable housing, land use, resources, transportation and parks, culture and recreation.
The fair begins with a Let's Talk Sustainability inspirational event on Friday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 9: 15 p.m. (doors open at 6: 30 p.m.) and kicks into high gear with a visioning workshop on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Both events are free but registration is required because of limited space.

3 Enjoy some local talent at the Douglas College theatre with the stagecraft departments' production of Dangerous Corner, a play by J.B. Priestly.
The play is being performed in the Studio Theatre at Douglas College (700 Royal Ave.) until Nov. 10. Tickets are $12 and $8 for students and seniors.

Find a treasure or have some tea 4at events being hosted by two local churches. Knox Presbyterian Church (402 East Columbia St.) is having a Christmas tea and bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 12: 30 to 3 p.m., while Shiloh Sixth Avenue United Church (1111 Sixth Ave.) is having a fall fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the same day.
The fall fair features antique collectibles, jams, jellies, attic treasures, home baking, books, crafts, kids' items and more.

5 Farmers Market, which kicks off its winter season on Saturday, Nov. 3.
The farmers' market includes food vendors and artisan vendors, as well as kids activities sponsored by River Market.
The winter market runs twice a month on the first and third Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at River Market, 810 Quayside Dr.
