The popular Seniors Festival is returning to Century House.
WHAT IS IT?
The festival, being held on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature an information fair with more than 35 businesses and organizations providing services, benefits and other information for older adults.
WHAT ELSE IS PLANNED?
It will also include mini workshops, a screening of the short film The Age of Love, entertainment and speakers.
Broadcaster Mike McCardell of CTV News and author of the new book None of This Was Planned: The Stories Behind the Stories, will be the event’s keynote speaker.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Everyone is invited to attend the festival, which is presented by the City of New Westminster’s seniors advisory committee. Participants will also be eligible to win a variety of prizes at the festival.
