A lot of shopping and a lot of help for charity were on offer at the Canadian Auto Workers' hall in New Westminster on Nov. 2.

The Royal City Gogos held their popular Artisan Crafts for Africa event, featuring all kinds of shopping - including fashion accessories, treats for pets, soft furnishings for the home, and gifts for young and old.

Proceeds from the sale go to help the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign, which supports grandmothers in Africa who are caring for children who have been orphaned by the AIDS pandemic.
