Nominations are now being sought for the 2012 inductee into the prestigious Fraser River Hall of Fame.
Each year, the Fraser River Discovery Centre Society honours the significant achievements and contributions made by a family, individual, business, corporation or organization to the Fraser River.
Candidates must have made noteworthy contributions to the health and sustainability of the Fraser River, its people, industry or environment and may be in the field of community leadership, business and economic development, labour, industry, volunteer service and other areas including research, culture and the arts.
The deadline for nominations is 4: 30 p.m. on Jan. 31.
