New Westminster residents invited to enjoy wine and help the hospital

Wine and appetizers are being served up to raise funds for Royal Columbian Hospital.

The Group of Five is raising funds for a laerdal airway management trainer for the emergency department at Royal Columbian.

A fundraiser is taking place on Thursday, Nov. 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Galbraith House.

Gerda Suess, one of the founders of the Group of Five, recently went shopping and purchased items for the silent auction, which features “magnificent” Christmas decorations (but not for the tree).

“The silent auction will sparkle,” she said.
