New West rock art brings 'Easter eggs' to Queen's Park

If you spotted some unexpected “Easter eggs” in Queen’s Park over the weekend, thank the Easter Bunny. Or maybe thank Matthew Dean and his seven-year-old son, Duncan.

If you spotted some unexpected “Easter eggs” in Queen’s Park over the weekend, thank the Easter Bunny.

Or maybe thank Matthew Dean and his seven-year-old son, Duncan.

The New West residents took on a personal project to spread some Easter cheer by collecting rocks (including egg-shaped ones) and painting them with a variety of cheerful colours and patterns.

They shared their handiwork in Queen’s Park, with colourful offerings left in and around the trees and gardens.
