The folks at St. Barnabas Church kept on cooking despite one of the biggest windstorms to hit Metro Vancouver in years.
The church held a family fun bazaar on Saturday that included a salmon bake and giant thrift sale. Volunteers dished up a tasty salmon lunch on Aug. 29, while a windstorm raged throughout the region.
The Brow of the Hill church provides a variety of services including a community lunch, emergency food cupboard and Christmas dinner.
