New West residents are once again invited to lend a helping hand to the Glenbrook Ravine.
Volunteers are invited to attend this year’s third ecological enhancement event in the ravine. It’s taking place on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“As always, this is a family-friendly event, and we have ways for people of all ages and ability to get involved and contribute,” said organizer Kyle Routledge in an email to the Record. “The work is no tht hard, and refreshment, socialization breaks are welcome and encouraged. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.”
Volunteers will meet at the Glenbrook Park Amenities Centre (76 Jamieson Crt.) at 10 a.m., but folks are invited to drop by anytime – just follow the trail up the ravine till you find everyone.
