The Salvation Army is thankful for the support it received from New Westminster during its recent Kettle Campaign.
Captains Randy and Anne Holden of the Salvation Army New Westminster want to thank the community for its “generous” support to the campaign that occurred during the recent holiday season.
“Our 2020 Kettle Campaign was an incredible success, and all the funds remain here in our community supporting our food bank and family services department,” they said in an email to the Record. “There was an increased need for our services in 2020, and the community support shown will help to meet this need in 2021. We want to acknowledge the New Westminster Rotary Club, the Royal City Rotary Club, BFL Canada Insurance Services and Garda World for their generous support.”
