In the ramp gallery at the New Westminster Public Library, the Girls Just Want To Have Fun exhibit is on display until April 30, showcasing artwork by Irene LaCharite and Lavanna LaBrey, members of the Red Hat Society.

In the reference department, Bruce Busby's vibrant abstract landscapes are also on display till the end of the month.

The library is located at 716 Sixth Ave. in New Westminster.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR CONCERT

New Westminster's own Vivo Children's Choir is holding a spring concert on Friday, May 3 with the Langley Children's Choir at Holy Trinity Church at 6: 30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 6 p.m. at 514 Carnarvon St.
