WHERE ARE THOSE PASSIONATE POEMS?

It's time to find those dusty pages of poetry you scribbled in a fit of passion during your college days.

They may be worth something.

The Royal City Literary Arts Society is holding its Write On! writing contest this month, with the deadline fast approaching.

March 15 is the last day to get your poetry, fiction and non-fiction submissions in for a chance at prizes and publication.

For fiction and non-fiction, entries can be up to 1,500 words, and for poetry, a maximum of one single-spaced page per entry.

Cash prizes will be awarded in each category for first, second and third place.

Entry fees are $10 per entry for society members, and $20 per entry for non-members.

For more information, and to submit your writing, visit rclas. com/events/rclas-write-2013.
