Families enjoyed a day of fun at Fraser River Discovery Centre on Family Day.
While Discovery Centre is normally closed on Mondays in the winter, it opened its doors on Monday, Feb. 8 to offer interactive exhibitions and educational programs to visitors of all ages in celebration of Family Day. In addition to its regular exhibits and activities, Fraser River Discovery Centre also offered some special Family Day programming for the holiday.
Joanna Appenheimer, programs and reception interpreter, said the goal is to show visitors something new about the local rivers through exhibits, games and special Family Day puppet shows and activities.
