The Timbiebs furor has exploded into satire on Facebook Marketplace

The crumb would make a great gift for Justin Bieber fans, according to jokester Blake Simms.

The excitement about the Tim Hortons Timbiebs, boxes and associated swag has reached new heights — a Langley seller is offering an “authentic Timbiebs TimBit crumb” for $100,000.

The post appeared on Facebook Marketplace on Dec. 12 after days of increasingly outlandish asking prices.

“Great Christmas gift for Justin Bieber fans,” the post by Blake Simms said.

Surrey seller Roy Dewar went even further with something in which the Langley crumb could be kept in — a Timbiebs box for $1 million.

It’s a great deal: it comes with two Tim Bieber balls in it.

“That’s why it a million bucks. I offer free shipping. Firm on price,” Dewar said.

Simms was incredulous when Glacier Media reached out about the post.

“You want to do an article.. about a Tim Bit crumb...?” Simms asked, declining to talk further about the satire.

“It was a joke and that's all it is,” Simms said via Facebook Messenger.

“I don't wanna go too far down the rabbit hole.”

Meanwhile, someone in Chilliwack is working Dewar’s turf.

Brandee Wydenes has knocked $10,000 off her $100,00 box ticket price.

“Best deal you can get out there gonna sell fast hurry up 100,000 OBO! Gonna need one of these before they are gone,” Wydenes wrote.

Of course, if you want to go cheap on Bieber treasures, you can get a box for a mere $20. Or, perhaps, just go to a Tim Hortons and buy a box yourself — donuts included.
