You can help pick B.C.’s Funniest New Female.
Laughter Zone 101 is hosting the competition at Lafflines Comedy Club this week.
It kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 8 with the preliminary rounds in two shows – Round 1 at 6:30 p.m. and Round 2 at 8:30 p.m. Audience members’ and judges’ votes will be tabulated to determine the winners, and audience votes alone will choose a “fan favourite” to move on to the finals as well. Tickets are $16.
The winners move on to the grand finale on Saturday, Aug. 10, when doors open at 7 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets for the finale are $18.
Full food and beverage service is available during the shows.
Lafflines is at the Columbia Theatre, 530 Columbia St.
