The Royal City Literary Arts Society is continuing its In Their Words reading series on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Each session includes three featured readers sharing the work of their favourite writers. Their presentations include a brief commentary about the author, and a reading of selections that show what the speaker loves about that particular author’s work.

For the upcoming session, Carol Johnson will read from the work of English novelist and poet D.H. Lawrence, Malcolm Van Deist will read the work of Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård, and Glenn Wootton will present the work of singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot.

The reading takes place in Room 413A of the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St. It’s free, and all are welcome. For more details, see www.rclas.com.
