Hey, music lovers, don’t miss out on the next Music at Queens concert.

The concert series is back on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m., with a performance by the jazz ensemble Van Django.

The ensemble – made up of violinist Cameron Wilson, guitarist Budge Schachte, guitarist-cellist Finn Manniche and bassist Brent Gubbels – is known for its upbeat, swinging sound that’s said to be reminiscent of the 1930s Hot Club of France.

The concert is at Queens Avenue United Church, 529 Queens Ave.

Tickets for the concert are $25 regular, $20 for seniors and students, or $10 for children, available through www.brownpapertickets.com. You can also buy them at the church office from Tuesday to Friday by calling 604-522-1606, or at the door.
