The one-woman show blends music and storytelling in a multimedia presentation, while bringing the history of the Cold War to life. It’s based on More’s own time living on Berlin and a bicycle trip she took along the 100-mile route of the Berlin Wall.

She brings it back to the stage each November to recognize the fall of the Berlin Wall, which dates back to a historic night on Nov. 9, 1989 when the checkpoints between the east and west side of the wall first opened to free crossing.

“Featuring songs, slam poetry and sock puppets, Berlin Waltz is both a high-energy musical travelogue and a politically charged history lesson,” said a write-up about the show.

It’s set against a live-looped original soundtrack by More.

As with all Way Off-Broadway Wednesdays shows, admission is on a pay-what-you-want basis. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

The Heritage Grill is at 447 Columbia St. Reservations are recommended; call 604-759-0819.
