Take note, New West: Another PechaKucha night is coming your way.
PechaKucha New West Vol. 22 is happening at the Anvil Centre Theatre on Saturday, March 2, in connection with the city’s Innovation Week festivities.
Attendees can arrive for drinks and music starting at 7 p.m. in the lobby of the theatre (on the third floor at Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St.), with craft beer and wine on offer. At 8 p.m., the fun starts in the theatre with 10 PechaKucha talks.
PechaKucha, for those who’ve not yet encountered the phenomenon, has speakers do slide presentations of 20 images, each for 20 seconds, for a total of six minutes and 40 seconds per speaker. Presentations can be about any subject the speaker is passionate about, so come prepared to learn about a diverse array of new topics.
A short intermission is held part way through.
