Local writers are sharing the work of their favourite authors at an upcoming reading night.
The Royal City Literary Arts Society is hosting the next In Their Words: a Royal City Reading Series event on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ruth Kozak is scheduled to host the night, which will feature three presenters: Sherry Duggal reading the work of poet Mary Oliver, Neall Ryan reading the work of author Richard Bach, and Franci Louann reading the work of poet Elizabeth Bachinsky.
The presents read work from their chosen author and include some commentary looking at what they love about that author’s work. A short Q&A session follows each presenter.
Admission is free. It takes place on the fourth floor at Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St.
