Queens Avenue United Church is calling for handbell ringers for the new season of its children’s and adult handbell choirs.
The community children’s handbell choir starts up again on Monday, Jan. 21 at 3:45 p.m. All children in Grade 3 and up are invited to join, and no musical experience is needed. It’s a great way for kids to learn music – and it’s free. All children in New Westminster and surrounding areas are welcome.
The church also has openings for adults who already read music to join its adult handbell choir. That group meets Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.
