I’ll even say thank you for the music if you take a chance on me and understand that the name of the game is not money money money but music. Oh, I do hope (I do, I do, I do, I do, I do) that at least one of us gets a chance to sing along (although, knowing me, knowing you, it’ll be a contest to see who sings louder, and since the winner takes it all, our seat neighbours may be sending out an S.O.S. before the concert’s done).
But you’ll be a super trouper, I’m sure, and your theatregoing career will not meet its Waterloo because of our enthusiasm.
