Love art? Van Dop Gallery has a couple of new options for local art lovers this month.

The first is the gallery’s latest satellite installation at Wild Rice restaurant at River Market. The Sea to Sky installation features the work of four local artists: Jeff Wilson, Enda Bardell, Veronica Foster and Carol Arnston.

A write-up from the gallery notes that it features a collection of works depicting representations of the sea and the raven.

“Ocean scenes intermingled with iconographic images of ravens create a dialogue about our relationship to spiritual symbolism,” the write-up notes. “Transcending time, culture and religion, both the Raven and the Sea are symbols of spiritual turmoil, grief and misfortune and simultaneously symbols of transformation and new life.”

Meanwhile, up at the gallery (at 421 Richmond St.), you can see new works by Jim Walsh, a local painter and member of the gallery’s New West 7, whose work explores natural imagery of bright foliage and delicate blossoms in serene landscapes.
