The Arts Council of New Westminster could use your help to help the next generation of artists.
The arts council awards two scholarship/bursary awards every year through the Hilda Cliffe Scholarship Program, helping local students to further their studies in the arts – one for a Douglas College student, and the other for a New Westminster Secondary School student.
The arts council is currently soliciting donations to help fund the scholarship program.
“Finances should never prevent a student from attending an art program or pursuing a career in the arts,” says a write-up from the arts council. “Right now, you can make sure that students in our community succeed.”
