If you missed the ArtsToGo workshops over this past weekend, don’t worry – you have another shot coming up this month. The Arts Council of New Westminster holds regular public workshops to give families a chance to drop in and make art together.

If you missed the ArtsToGo workshops over this past weekend, don’t worry – you have another shot coming up this month.

The Arts Council of New Westminster holds regular public workshops to give families a chance to drop in and make art together. This past weekend, on Sunday, Feb. 3, artist Clarissa Argueta was on hand at Royal City Centre to lead children in a winter-themed mixed-media project.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, families are welcome to a drumming workshop at Lord Kelvin Community School (1010 Hamilton St.). Rhythm Resource leads the workshop from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The ArtsToGo series is a year-round, hands-on, no-cost series of workshops offered by the arts council to help make arts accessible to all. Organizations can also request ArtsToGo workshops in connection with special events. You can find out more at www.artscouncilnewwest.org/artstogo.
