Family drama onstage at Bernie Legge Theatre

Vagabond Players' season-opening production is on until Oct. 24

Theatre lovers still have a chance to check out the Vagabond Players’ season opener.

The local theatre company is staging Other Desert Cities, Jon Robin Baitz’s family drama, until Oct. 24.

It stars Julia Grace as Brooke Wyeth, a strong-minded New Yorker who returns home to celebrate Christmas with her family and announces that she is about to publish a memoir that dredges up a family secret.

She’s joined onstage by Rob Stover, Miles Lavkulich, Nancy Ebert and Karen Golden.

The play is onstage at the Bernie Legge Theatre in Queen’s Park, Thursday to Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
