The #ArtsNW podcast is looking for emerging storytellers for its summer edition.

The podcast is looking to interview people who self-identify as emerging storytellers, according to a call posted on the Arts Council of New Westminster website.

“Amidst the pandemic, the podcast seeks to remove the distance between us by sharing casual conversations between artists, and finding ways to continue to support and present their work to the public through a virtual platform,” says the write-up.

Recording will place at the arts council’s Gallery at Queen’s Park in late June or early July, with social distancing protocols in place, and a small honorarium is available for participants.

The podcast is presented by the arts council with support from 100 Braid Street Studios, the City of New Westminster and the B.C. Arts Council.

Email howard@artscouncilnewwest.org for more information, or check out the call for artists on the Arts Council of New Westminster website.
