Two neighbourhood clinics are running in New Westminster on Friday, June 25 to get first doses of COVID vaccine to folks who still need one.

If you live in New Westminster and you haven’t had your first jab yet, this one’s for you.

Fraser Health has set up a series of neighbourhood clinics designed to get first doses of COVID vaccine into the arms of anyone who’s eligible but who still hasn’t had one.

On Friday, June 25, folks on the hunt for first doses can stop in to either of two New West neighbourhood clinics:

  • St. Barnabas Church, 1010 Fifth Ave. – 10 a.m. to noon (June 25)
  • Umbrella Multicultural Health Co-op, 715 Carnarvon St. – noon to 6 p.m. (June 25): Walk-in appointments are available. If you want to make an appointment, you can text, call or WhatsApp 1-236-513-8307 or register online.

Same-day first-dose shots are also available seven days a week at the main Anvil Centre vaccination clinic (777 Columbia St.). If you haven’t had your first shot yet, you can walk in any time between 10:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., and staff will be available to help you register and set up a same-day appointment.

All Fraser Health residents are welcome, including those without personal health numbers.

A full list of vaccination clinics can be found at the Fraser Health website.
