Gareth Youdan, the fellow behind those fabulous signs at Knox Presbyterian Church, is one of the presenters at Pecha Kucha New West: Volume 25. Pecha Kucha is always full of surprises - so you'll have to check it out if you want to see if he actually talks about the signs or something totally different.

An eclectic lineup of speakers will be on hand when Pecha Kucha makes its way to Sapperton  this weekend.

Volume 25 of Pecha Kucha New West is taking place on Saturday, March 7 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 403 East Columbia St. The popular series features 10 presentations on an eclectic range of topics – with each presenter showing 20 images for 20 seconds each.

The fun gets started at 7 p.m., when attendees can buy local craft beer and wine and mingle with other guests, and the presentations get underway at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and available at www.eventbrite.ca (search for Pecha Kucha New West).

The lineup of speakers for Volume 25 includes Lee-Ann Frances Bates, Karima Jivraj, Christopher Jung, PJ Patten, Serena Trachta and Gareth Youdan (also known as the Knox church sign guy).
