The New Westminster Historical Society is a great place to celebrate Heritage Week 2020.
The topic of the society’s next meeting is Bringing the Past into the Future. It’s on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the New Westminster Public Library auditorium, 716 Sixth Ave.
“This presentation will explore the variety of heritage resources that are found in the community, area, province and so on,” said a write-up about the event. “It will also include a set of images from the city’s history that help to illustrate how the community has changed over the decades.”
The program is free and everyone is welcome. There is no need to pre-register.
