The author of the national bestseller First Nations 101 is coming to New Westminster Public Library for a talk on reconciliation.

Lynda Gray will be at the library on Tuesday, June 11 at 7 p.m., in celebration of National Indigenous History Month. A write-up from the library notes that her presentation will provide “a brief overview of the history that has brought First Nations and non-First Nations people to today, and where we need to go from here.”

She’ll discuss how the history has created both challenges and opportunities with regard to reconciliation and talk about the need for trust building and respect for culture.
