Keep your child's nose in a book this summer with the New Westminster Public Library's Summer Reading Club.

The New Westminster Public Library is once again helping to keep kids interested in reading over the summer.

The library is hosting the B.C. Summer Reading Club for 2019, on the theme of Imagine the Possibilities! Kids aged three to 11 can sign up staring June 3 at both the main and Queensborough branches.

Young readers can read at home to earn stickers, prizes and, at the end of the summer, a reading club medal.

Both branches are hosting kick-off parties on Wednesday, June 19 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. At the main branch, the special guest for the occasion will be magician Peter Rooke. At the Queensborough branch, the event will feature a special storytime and craft.

There’s also a teen summer reading club that will feature activities and prizes for older readers.

See www.nwpl.ca for all the details, call 604-527-4677, or visit the children’s department at the library for more details.
