Fourteen-hundred pounds of apples were washed, cored and pressed at the annual Apple Press Fest at Lord Kelvin Elementary School on Saturday.
The day-long festival, organized by Moody Park residents Mark Gifford and Will Mah, saw some 250 people stop by throughout the event to help turn the apples into cider.
Gifford said his favourite part of the festival is watching neighbours, young and old, work together.
