The Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver is grateful for the generosity of Piva Modern Italian Restaurant.
Kurt Wipp, owner of the restaurant in Anvil Centre, and his team recently provided a delicious holiday spread for 90 of EFry's vulnerable women and children clients. Shawn Bayes, executive director of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver, also reports that the business also made a $10,000 donation to the New West-based charity.
In October, Piva served up a special Thanksgiving lunch of pasta and pizza to folks involved with the Lookout Society.
