'We're bustin' through today': Little icebergs form on Fraser River as ferries traverse (VIDEO)

The ice didn't stop the little ferry

With the snow and cold air recently ice has begun to form on the fresh water in the region, even the mighty Fraser.

While the river hasn't frozen over in Metro Vancouver, a Redditor in New Westminster got some interesting footage today as the Q2Q ferry pushed its way through the river.

"We're bustin' through today, boys," says someone on the boat.

The video shows large chunks of ice in the river, in some cases several square feet in area. The ferry passes through with little trouble, though.

The ferry connects the Queensborough neighbourhood to New Westminster's core.
