SURREY, B.C. — One man is dead following a collision between a car and motorcycle in Surrey, B.C.
Surrey RCMP were called to Hall Road and 72 Avenue area shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday for reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
Police say a 2021 Hyundai Sonata was travelling north on Hall Road and collided with a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle travelling south on Hall Road.
The adult man driving the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries, and the woman driving the Hyundai remained at the scene.
Police say the crash is still under investigation, but alcohol and drugs are not considered to be contributing factors.
Investigators are asking any witnesses who were in the area or have dash cam footage around the 7100 block of Hall Road between 6:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to please contact them.
