One person was injured in a scary crash at the BC Ferry terminal in Tsawwassen Tuesday afternoon.

According to Delta police, at around 12:35 p.m. they got a report of a vehicle that drove off the ferry ramp.

Vehicles were in the process of unloading after a sailing, but one of the vehicles apparently drove through a concrete barricade on the second storey ramp.

It then went off the ramp, crashing 30-feet to the ground below.

The driver was reportedly seriously injured and taken to hospital

There were no others in the vehicle and no one on the ground was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, say police.

The Duke Point sailing was delayed an hour.
