A man unlawfully-at-large in B.C. was arrested two days after police appealed to the public for help.

David Morin was arrested in Williams Lake Friday morning (Jan. 22), who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for several weeks.

The 26-year-old breached the conditions of his release after he didn't return to his designated Vancouver home on Jan. 2.

“We are pleased to report that during the early morning hours of January 22, David Morin was located and arrested in Williams Lake by front line officers,” said spokesperson S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet in an update this afternoon (Jan. 25).

“We would like to extend our thanks to the public and media for assistance in helping police locate Morin and take him back into custody.”

RCMP issued a public statement on Jan. 20 asking for help in finding the 26-year-old and to call 9-1-1 if seen.
