Poetry lovers can take in Poetic Justice on Sunday afternoons at the Heritage Grill in downtown New Westminster.

The reading series runs from 3 to 5 p.m.

This Sunday's series features Susan McCaslin, Val Parks and Deborah Kelly.

McCaslin (www.susanmccaslin.ca) is a Canadian poet and faculty emerita of Douglas College. She's the author of 11 volumes of poetry, including the most recent, Demeter Goes Skydiving.

She's also just recently published a volume of essays, Arousing the Spirit: Provocative Writings.

Parks is a lifelong New Westminster resident who has been writing since she was 15 but who only recently decided to publish her work. Her chapbook Walking Along the Quay was published in 2003, and earlier this year she published Pathways. Her new book, Wisdom of a Thousand Fools, will be released soon.

Kelly is a North Vancouver resident who has been writing poetry for more than 40 years and has been published in newsletters, books, magazines and journals internationally.
