Is there a child in your home who loves to sing?

Vivo Children's Choir is accepting new members for the 2011/12 season, and registration is currently underway.

The choir meets Wednesday afternoons at Olivet Baptist Church.

It's a non-auditioned choir for children from Grade 2 on up, with choirs at three levels: Animoso, for grades 2 and 3; Bravura, for grades 4 and 5; and Concento, for grades 6 and up.

At each level, young singers are given a chance to develop their vocal skills and learn the fundamentals of good choral singing.

The choir is led by three artistic directors: Anne Wilson Unger, Carrie Taylor and Ingrid Verseveldt.

The choir is entering its 10th year in New Westminster and is planning a number of special events for the upcoming season - including hosting a B.C. Choral Federation workshop in February and putting on a spring concert that will feature students from the past 10 years being invited to sing with the choir.
