Drop by Lafflines Comedy Club tonight or tomorrow to enjoy some homegrown Canadian talent.
Darcy Michael will be hosting the show at Lafflines, featuring Jane Stanton and Sean Emeny.
Michael is a Ladner resident who has just released his stand-up special Darcy Michael: One Skinny Bitch online.
The show features his favourite stories and jokes and also discusses more serious topics such as his big weight loss, his marriage, his family and his sexuality.
He's also currently filming a new comedy talk show, The Skinny With Darcy Michael, produced by Frantic Films. It's filmed in Winnipeg, and featured guests include Alan Thicke, Caroline Rhea, Judy Gold, Harland Williams and more.
You can catch him at Lafflines tonight (Friday, June 8) or Saturday.
Tickets are $17 for Friday, $19 for Saturday, including HST.
For the Friday night show, doors open at 8:30 p.m. for a showtime of 9:30 p.m. For Saturday night, doors open at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. showtime.
Lafflines is at the newly renovated Columbia Theatre at 530 Columbia St.
