The BC SPCA is asking the public for their help in funding a vital surgery for a local feline.

An adorable kitty named Keefer fell from a high-rise and was left unclaimed. The BC SPCA rescued her and rushed her into trauma care, but the tuxedo-clad cutie had already shattered her pelvis. As such, she will need surgery in order to enjoy a comfortable new life.

Sadly, Vancouver SPCA’s medical budget is stretched thin. They have been overwhelmed with stray cats with all sorts of trauma, and no owner to claim them, or the vet bills. Every year they set aside as much as 1/3 of their entire budget just to cover medical costs and it’s still not enough, which is why they desperately need your help to save these deserving animals.

The SPCA has a number of animals that require emergency medical treatments and surgeries. You can learn more and donate here.

Personal updates for Keefer will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Keefer until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
