I was driving up 12th Street recently when a pedestrian veered on to the street. Luckily, I was able to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision.
A block later, a New Westminster policeman pulled me over. He had seen the entire episode unfold and just wanted to make sure I was OK. Wow - nicest cop ever.
