I wanted to say a big thank you to the New Westminster city workers who cleaned the parkade mirror on Front Street across from Army & Navy.
I was coming out of the lot on the river side of Front Street and the mirror that's in place for safety was quite dirty and, with the sun setting, I had a very close call with a semi that I just couldn't see as I was trying to turn east.
After my heart slowed down, I made a quick call to city hall engineering and a few days later when driving down Front Street, the mirror looks brand new.
