If you want to use Canada Games Pool and Fitness Centre during the first half of September, you’re out of luck.
The facility will be closed for regularly scheduled maintenance from Sept. 3 to 17. The fall schedule begins Sept. 18.
“Scheduled servicing ensures that our facility systems continue to run smoothly and safely,” says a city posting. “We appreciate your patience during the closure.”
Time-based memberships (Active Pass 30 & 90) are universal and can be used at other New Westminster Parks and Recreation facilities while Canada Games Pool and Fitness Centre are closed.
If you wish to withdraw your time-based membership, see a cashier on your last visit before the pool closure to withdraw, or sign up at the front desk to be withdrawn on Sept. 3.
Fall Lessons begin Sept. 24. Lesson registration will be available during the maintenance closure. Register anytime online: newwestcity.ca/rec. In-person and phone registration will also be available during facility opening hours.
