Kudos: Real estate firm donates $10,000 to Richmond Hospital

The donation is going to be used to purchase new surgery equipment for the hospital.

Align BC Properties Corp., a real estate firm in the development industry, donated a total of $10,000 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation and is encouraging community members to support their local health care facilities. 

According to a Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) media statement, the donation will support the Surgical Restart campaign, which includes purchasing new surgery equipment for the hospital. 

“Everyone around the world is suffering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all helpless and vulnerable as this disease does not discriminate. But Life is precious,” said John Liang, director of Align BC Properties Corp. 

“This funding is a small contribution to the greater good, but we will continue to do our best to help more people in need.”

Liang also noted that Align BC Properties is holds a strong value of giving back and  hope that their donation can inspire more people to come together and “make an impact” on the health care industry in Richmond.
