As lifestyle editor at the Vancouver Courier, I’m lucky that during the year some really great gifts land on my desk, including some really beautiful cookbooks.

And while I try and write about some of these items, I can’t always get to all of them — my apologies.

But, I will attempt to make up for that now by not only writing about some of these items, but by also giving them away to someone who will either appreciate them or pass them on as a gift to someone else who will enjoy them.

The first gift I’m giving away is a copy of a new cookbook that’s been garnering a lot of buzz recently called Cooking in Color by the Food Gays. The geniuses behind this beautifully photographed book are Vancouver bloggers, photographers and foodies Jeremy Inglett and Adrian Harris, who started their Food Gays blog in 2012.

Since then these two have been making waves on the culinary scene by producing delicious recipes for not only their own blog, but also contributing to publications including Martha Stewart, Food & Wine, Gusto TV and the Province and Vancouver Courier newspapers. This is their first cookbook — and it’s gorgeous.

And I’m making it easy to enter. You don’t have to “follow” me or fill out a form or sign up for a newsletter. All you have to do is be the 20th person to email me at sthomas@vancourier.com with the name of the prize in the subject line.

You also have to be able to pick up the book in person at the Vancouver Courier office on West Fifth Avenue. And that’s it.
